What are Custom Orthotics?

Custom orthotics involve taking a plaster mold of your foot, then sending the mold to a lab to create a custom footbed. Not the typical insert you purchase in a store, these devices are tailored to conform to your individual foot shape. Custom orthotics are designed to correct misalignments in the foot, improve posture and alleviate foot and leg pain. They can relieve acute and chronic foot pain caused by plantar faciitis, heel spurs, Morton’s Neuroma, fallen arches, bunions and foot or ankle misalignments. They can also correct foot imbalances that may be contributing to other misalignments. Custom Orthotics increase and enhance athletic performance and help enhance other treatments and therapies.
